V.M.Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, expressed his condolences to the family of V.A.Vatamaniuk, Head of Chernivtsi Regional Council, who passed away at the age of 65.

"It is with deep sorrow that I learned about the death of Vasyl Ananiiovych Vatamaniuk.

He passed away, placing himself on record in the region and in the hearts of those who lived and worked beside him. Vasyl Ananiiovych was known as a kind-hearted and decent person, a professional and talented leader, a reliable friend.

I pay my honour to the unforgettable image of Vasyl Ananiiovych. May he rest in peace!

I share your pain and sorrow from the irreversible loss.

Please accept my sincere condolences", the telegram reads.
